Sometimes Paula and I would spend time drawing each other. Being the lazy bastard that I am, she would usually sketch me lying on the sofa, or in a lounge chair. Sometimes she would sketch her bar patrons, and her many pets. And I would love to do caricatures of her. (You can see some of those in her photograph slideshow). As a figure drawer Paula was untrained. But she had natural talent and I found her scratchy-sketchy drawing technique very appealing. Here are just a few samples. Steve J. Hill
